The Hungarian Grand Prix series starts in Tatabánya in June
We are organizing Continental Tour Bronze competitions in Hungary.
The Hungarian Grand Prix series restarts in 2021 with two stops. The Hungarian and international athletes are set to clash on June 5 at the Grosics Gyula Stadium and on August 24 at the Lantos Mihály Sports Facility. Both competitions made it into the Continental Tour’s bronze category.
World Athletics launched the Continental Tour series to make a unified system for single day/invitational competitions all over the world and to make them easier to follow for supporters.
At the moment – apart from the Olympics, World and European Championships – the Diamond League is the top category series which has 14 stops and starts on May 23 in Gateshead, Great Britain.
The Continental Tour has three levels: gold (such as the Gyulai István Memorial), silver (the Queensland Track Classic in Brisbane, Australia for instance) and bronze. Hungary is organizing two competitions in the latter category in 2021.
